GE HealthCare launches new AI-powered cardiovascular ultrasound system

GE HealthCare (Nasdaq: GEHC)+ today announced the launch of Vivid Pioneer, its newest, most advanced cardiovascular ultrasound system.

The company built Vivid Pioneer on its existing Vivid platform, but completely redesigned this latest generation. It supports clinicians with imaging in 2D, 4D and color flow, along with streamlined workflows and enhanced diagnostic confidence.

GE HealthCare recently received both CE mark and FDA 510(k) clearance for the system. It has Vivid Pioneer on display at the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Congress 2025 in Madrid, along with other cardiology innovations.

Vivid Pioneer, powered by the next-generation cSound Pioneer architecture and probe technology, offers sharp, detailed cardiac imaging. It produces enhanced spatial and contrast resolution, improved color sensitivity and 4D imaging. The system’s 4Vc-D and new 6Sc-D proves, built on XDclear technology, enable the visualization of fine anatomical structures. These probes enable the assessment of cardiac function with improved accuracy across a range of patients, from pediatrics to adults.
