Centinel Spine gets FDA nod for two-level use of prodisc C Nova

The FDA clearance permits the motion-preserving device to be implanted across two levels in the cervical spine.

US-based commercial-stage medical technology firm Centinel Spine has received the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for two-level use of its prodisc C Nova cervical total disc replacement system.

The regulatory clearance permits the motion-preserving device to be implanted across two levels in the cervical spine.

Following this decision, Centinel Spine now offers three distinct cervical total disc replacement devices cleared for both single- and two-level applications: prodisc C Nova, prodisc C SK, and prodisc C Vivo.
