Sunnyvale, California-based Ceribell said the NTAP covers up to $2,171 per eligible Medicare patient case utilizing the technology. The NTAP goes into effect on Oct. 1, 2026.

Ceribell’s system utilizes point-of-care electroencephalography (EEG), analyzing segments and notifying clinicians when patterns associated with delirium are detected. It supports more timely, reliable evaluation and continuous monitoring. The system can now support continuous seizure, electrographic status epilepticus (ESE) and delirium monitoring at the bedside.

FDA clearance, picked up last December, made the platform the first and only FDA-cleared delirium screening and monitoring device.
