Johnson & Johnson MedTech launches mobile simulator for breast procedures

Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ)+ announced that it launched the Arbrea Breast Simulator Surgeon App for Mentor in the U.S.

The digital consultation tool, available on tablets and smartphones, helps plastic surgeons personalize planning for patients. It enables the vizualization of potential outcomes during breast augmentation consultations.

According to Johnson & Johnson, most plastic surgeons still use physical sizers and before-and-after galleries to guide conversations about outcomes when it comes to breast procedures. J&J’s Arbrea Breast Simulator Surgeon App for Mentor helps to deliver a personalized 3D simulation in about 60 seconds.

The company says the process enhances clinical discussions in real time and helps patients visualize how different options could look.
