CMS assigned the Neurspera SNM (sacral neuromodulation) system to payment level APC 5464 in the proposed CY 2027 Outpatient Prospective Payment System Rule. This provides the externally powered integrated SNM (iSNM) system the same Medicare payment as all other implantable neuromodulation therapies for urinary urge incontinence (UUI). It also increases the payment rate for APC 5464 to $22,150 for CY 2027, marking an 11.8% increase from 2026.
