Think Surgical announces first TMINI robotic procedures using LinkSymphoKnee

Think Surgical today announced the first successful use of Waldemar Link’s LinkSymphoKnee using the TMINI Miniature Robotic System.

LinkSymphoKnee’s platform has multiple bearing surface philosophies and implant coatings to meet the clinical demands of arthroplasty. It can seamlessly integrate into workflows, including Think Surgical’s TMINI surgical robot.

“With the LinkSymphoKnee and the TMINI System, the surgical team was able to obtain the desired bone cuts that were preoperatively planned specifically for these patients. Utilizing state of the art technology enabled us to address patient specific needs with an efficient procedure,” said Dr. Mark Gittins, the surgeon who completed the procedure.

Think Surgical won FDA clearance to use its TMINI surgical robot with the LinkSymphoKnee in November 2024.
